Regardless of whether you have baby blues, browns, greens, or hazels, properly caring for your eyes can make a major difference in your quality of life as you age.
Our team can help you find affordable vision coverage that offers annual routine eye exams for little money out-of-pocket. Plus it can help you with the cost of contact lenses or eyeglass lenses and frames (including designer names) and even discounts on vision correction (such as Lasik and PRK).
Vision insurance is generally written as a supplemental insurance policy, attached to your overall medical insurance plan.
Any questions?
What vision services are typically covered under a vision plan?
Coverage generally provides for eye exams, a wide range of frames and lenses, contact lens options, and discounts on laser vision correction. Depending on the vision care plan you choose for your employees, they will make copayments or receive discounts off of these services. Exams are usually covered once every 12 or 24 months.
If I need new glasses, how do I get replacements that are covered?
For glasses (frames and lenses), members receive a discount off the retail price under the Preferred Plan; they will be responsible for copayment(s) for lenses and frames under the Premier Plan. For contact lenses, members will pay a percentage off the retail cost depending on the plan. Some services or types of materials are not covered if they are received from an out-of-network provider.
How much will the average vision plan cover for laser eye correction?
Some Vision Care plans provide a discount off the retail cost of laser vision correction (such as LASIK and PRK) through an approved network doctor or clinic. It is important to check your plan before making any decision because there is often no coverage if treatment is received from an out-of-network provider.
